Window lettering & graphics

What it is

Window work covers a lot of ground. At one end it is a set of hours and a phone number cut in white vinyl on a glass door. At the other it is 23-karat gold leaf laid onto the inside of the glass, which is how the best law offices and old-line businesses in New England have signed their doors for well over a century, and which still looks like nothing else.

In between there is frosted and etched-effect film for privacy in conference rooms and medical offices, full-colour printed graphics for a seasonal promotion, and perforated window film that lets you print across a whole window while people inside can still see out.

The practical advantages are real. Window graphics need no permit in most towns because they are not classed as building signage, they can be changed inexpensively, and they read from the pavement where your customers actually are. We have done glass for Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Northwestern Mutual, FRCOG, Ristorante DiPaolo and dozens of storefronts along Main Street.
