Banners & Trade Show

Banners & trade show displays

Fast, loud and temporary — banners are the tool for a weekend festival, a grand opening, a sponsorship, or a booth you have to set up alone in twenty minutes.

What it is

We print a great many banners, and most of them are for things happening within twenty miles of the shop — the Franklin County Fair, the Bernardston Gas Engine Show, Mutton & Mead, brew fests, road races, school fundraisers and a long list of grand openings. Quick turnaround matters more than anything else in this category, and we are set up for it.

Material choice is mostly about how long it needs to survive and how it is being hung. Heavy scrim vinyl with welded hems and brass grommets is the standard for outdoor work and will take real wind. Fabric prints softer, photographs better and folds without creasing, which is why it wins for indoor trade show backdrops and table runners.

For trade shows specifically, the equipment matters as much as the print. Retractable stands that go up in under a minute, flutter flags that stay legible in still air, table runners and fitted covers, and pop-up headers. We have built booth sets for Atlantic Golf & Turf, Barden Log Homes, Brattleboro Radio Group, New England Cheesemaking and Massamont Insurance.

Materials & construction

How we build it

Scrim vinyl banners

13oz–18oz vinyl with welded hems and brass grommets. Wind-slit or mesh available for exposed sites.

Fabric banners

Dye-printed fabric that folds without creasing and photographs without glare. The indoor choice.

Retractable stands

Cassette-based roll-up banners that deploy in under a minute and travel in a padded case.

Flags & table dressing

Flutter and feather flags up to 15ft, fitted table covers and printed runners.

Step 01Size to the site

We ask where it is hanging before we ask what it says — the fixing points decide the format.

Step 02Design for distance

Copy sized to be read from where the audience stands, not from a desk.

Step 03Print & finish

Printed on Roland equipment, then hemmed, welded and grommeted to spec.

Step 04Collect or install

Ready for pickup, or we hang it — including across a street or on a building where that is needed.

Common questions

Banners & Events FAQs

Simple printed banners are frequently ready within a few working days of approved artwork, and we can move faster when an event date demands it. Tell us the date you actually need it in hand and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable.

A properly hemmed and grommeted scrim vinyl banner tied at every grommet handles normal weather well. For genuinely exposed sites we recommend mesh banner material or wind slits, which let air through instead of turning the banner into a sail.

Vector artwork — AI, EPS or PDF — is ideal because it scales without softening. High-resolution PDF or TIFF also works. If all you have is a logo from a website, send it anyway and we will tell you whether it will hold up at size, or redraw it.

Yes. Fabric is the better choice indoors — it has no glare under lighting, it photographs cleanly, and it folds into a case without permanent creases. Vinyl is the better choice outdoors where it needs to take weather.
